Improved Water Use Efficiency

Performance Plants has developed a genetic trait technology that allows plants to grow and produce seeds with almost half the water that is usually required. Our Water Efficiency Technology™ (WET™) is ideal for crops that are rain-fed or grown with less than optimal irrigation. With the depletion of irrigation reservoirs and use of marginal lands for biofuel crops, WET™ will be a critical trait to maximize productivity.
