In partnership with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, PPI has developed customer-ready superstacked soybean breeding stocks for integration into any elite germ plasm for commercialization.

Our soybean provides:

• 23%+ increase in yield under heat and drought stress and in optimal environments

• Up to 7% higher protein

• Tolerance to limited nutrient supply, pest activity and overgrown weeds

In 2012 PPI licensed technologies to Mahyco for heat and drought tolerant and high-yield rice.

Over the last 5 years, PPI’s technologies have shown up to 32% yield advantages under well watered conditions as well as under drought and heat stresses.

BioCentury Transgene (Shenzhen, China) licensed PPI’s HDT and YET technologies in 2011 to develop drought and heat tolerant cotton.

Through their large-scale field trials over the last six years (2014-2019), elite events showed consistently:

• 15-27% yield advantages under drought and heat stress

• no yield drag under well-watered conditions

In 2012 PPI licensed technologies to Mahyco for heat and drought tolerant and high-yield wheat.
